The recent earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria have taken the lives of more than 46,000 people, injured many thousands more, and left untold thousands of families homeless.
Kent CBA is hosting a Swiss Pairs this Sunday 5th March. 50% of profits will be donated to the Turkey/Syria earthquake appeal. You can join them for the event at Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club from 11am, 5th March. Further details on the Kent CBA website.
The European Bridge League has also joined with the WBF and ACBL in supporting the Earthquake relief tournaments organised by the Turkish Bridge Federation on 25-26 February and 4-5 March; 100% of proceeds will go to relief organizations doing work in Türkiye and Syria, thanks to BBO parent company, 52Entertainment. These events are in addition to supporting the efforts being made by the Turkish Bridge Federation, ECatsBridge and others.
