Please note: We now have additional space for the Northern Midweek Congress (Harrogate, 22nd - 24th August) due to the number of entries received.
This year sees the return of the event for the first time since 2019. The congress will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Harrogate, run this year by Oliver Cowan in partnership with the EBU. The venue is the perfect new setting as it is less than a 10-minute walk to the train station. For those who are travelling by car, free parking has been arranged for the duration of the event.
The midweek congress will feature, Jack-High Swiss Pairs (aimed at players with an NGS no higher than 56.99%), Open Pairs (a Blue Pointed duplicate session open to everyone and suitable for all), Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams (for the more competitive players).
