The 46th World Bridge Teams Championships are now well underway in Marrakech, running from 19th August until 2nd September. There are four main events taking place, the Bermuda Bowl (Open Teams), Venice Cup (Women's Teams), D'Orsi Trophy (Seniors Teams) and Wuhan Cup (Mixed Teams). Unfortunately, no England teams qualified to play in the event this year.

During the second week of the competition, there will be two additional Open events as part of this year's World Bridge Tour:
- World Transnational Open Swiss and Knockout Teams (28 August - 2 September)
- Marrakech Grand Prix Transnational Board-a-Match (bam) Teams (30 August - 1 September)
