Early booking is advised, as the number of rooms is limited. 2020 Rates Dinner, bed and breakfast: £77 pppn sharing (for a twin or double); £87 single occupancy in single room Bed & breakfast: £62 pppn sharing (for a twin or double); £72 single occupancy in single room Note: entry to the Swiss Pairs includes a complimentary buffet supper on Saturday, so players intending to stay in the hotel on Saturday night should book the bed and breakfast tariff for Saturday irrespective of the tariff chosen for any other night. Dinner is available on the Friday between sessions. Bar snacks and sandwiches are available pre-ordered between sessions on the Sunday. Only food purchases at the Cairn may be consumed in either the playing areas of the public areas of the hotel. A number of rooms are reserved for booking at this negotiated rate for a limited period of time. Any unbooked rooms are usually released for booking by the general public a few weeks before the event. Thereafter rooms may still be available, but at the hotel’s current rate. Likewise if all allocated rooms are booked then rooms may still be available, but at the hotel’s current rate. To ensure rooms are available at the negotiated rate please book as early as possible.
