1916-1981
It is with great sadness that I have to report the death in France at the end of January of Mary Moss, the wife of John Moss. Mary was a member of the British Women's Team that won the European Championship in 1963 in Baden-Baden, and in the following year the Olympiad title in New York. She was one of the nicest teammates I knew, as charming at the bridge table as she was in everyday life.
When she left Britain to live in the South of France she was greatly missed by all her friends. Our sympathies go out to her family.
