We are sorry to hear that Dimmie Fleming Award winner Colin Woods has died by his own hand during lockdown. One of the reasons cited by the coroner was the loss of playing bridge regularly. Colin was not only a fine player but a huge asset to bridge administration in his area. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Although the pressures of lockdown are easing, we would ask that members continue to keep an eye out for, and keep in contact with, those who feel vulnerable and isolated, as things for most of us aren’t going to return to normal immediately.
